Provides functionality for client-side navigation of the server side file system in shiny apps. In case the app is running locally this gives the user direct access to the file system without the need to "download" files to a temporary location. Both file and folder selection as well as file saving is available.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from thomasp85/shinyFiles. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-shinyFiles

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
