Model stacking is an ensemble technique that involves training a model to combine the outputs of many diverse statistical models, and has been shown to improve predictive performance in a variety of settings. 'stacks' implements a grammar for 'tidymodels'-aligned model stacking.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from tidymodels/stacks. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
