A programmatic interface to many species occurrence data sources, including Global Biodiversity Information Facility ('GBIF'), 'iNaturalist', 'eBird', Integrated Digitized 'Biocollections' ('iDigBio'), 'VertNet', Ocean 'Biogeographic' Information System ('OBIS'), and Atlas of Living Australia ('ALA'). Includes functionality for retrieving species occurrence data, and combining those data.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from ropensci/spocc. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
