Flexible optimizer with numerous input specifications for detailed parameterisation. Designed for complex loss functions with state and parameter space constraints. Visualization tools for validation and analysis of the convergence are included.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from kaihusmann/optimization. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-optimization

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
