An R interface for the remote file hosting service 'Box' (https://www.box.com/). In addition to uploading and downloading files, this package includes functions which mirror base R operations for local files, (e.g. box_load(), box_save(), box_read(), box_setwd(), etc.), as well as 'git' style functions for entire directories (e.g. box_fetch(), box_push()).

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from r-box/boxr. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-boxr

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
