Functions are provided for the density function, distribution function, quantiles and random number generation for the skew hyperbolic t-distribution. There are also functions that fit the distribution to data. There are functions for the mean, variance, skewness, kurtosis and mode of a given distribution and to calculate moments of any order about any centre. To assess goodness of fit, there are functions to generate a Q-Q plot, a P-P plot and a tail plot.

Install

install.packages("SkewHyperbolic", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-SkewHyperbolic

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
