Collection of common methods to determine growing season length in a simple manner. Start and end dates of the vegetation periods are calculated solely based on daily mean temperatures and the day of the year.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-vegperiod

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
