Methods for faster extraction (about 5x faster in a few test cases) of variance-covariance matrices and standard errors from models. Methods in the 'stats' package tend to rely on the summary method, which may waste time computing other summary statistics which are summarily ignored.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-vcov

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
