Tidy syntax for 'data.table', using modification by reference whenever possible. This toolkit is designed for big data analysis in high-performance desktop or laptop computers. The syntax of the package is similar or identical to 'tidyverse'. It is user friendly, memory efficient and time saving. For more information, check its ancestor package 'tidyfst'.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from hope-data-science/tidyft. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-tidyft

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
