Makes it possible to serve map tiles for web maps (e.g. leaflet) based on a function or a stars object without having to render them in advance. This enables parallelization of the rendering, separating the data source and visualization location and to provide web services.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from bartk/starsTileServer. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-starsTileServer

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
