Utilities to support spatial data manipulation, query, sampling and modelling in ecological applications. Functions include models for species population density, spatial smoothing, multivariate separability, point process model for creating pseudo- absences and sub-sampling, Quadrant-based sampling and analysis, auto-logistic modeling, sampling models, cluster optimization, statistical exploratory tools and raster-based metrics.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from jeffreyevans/spatialEco. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-spatialEco

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
