A tool to calculate sky illuminance values (in lux) for both sun and moon. The model is a translation of the Fortran code by Janiczek and DeYoung (1987) https://archive.org/details/DTIC_ADA182110.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from bluegreen-labs/skylight. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
