Simulation of event histories with possibly non-linear baseline hazard rate functions, non-linear (time-varying) covariate effect functions, and dependencies on the past of the history. Random generation of event histories is performed using inversion sampling on the cumulative all-cause hazard rate functions.

Install

install.packages("simMSM", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-simMSM

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
