Creating a great user interface for your Shiny apps can be a hassle, especially if you want to work purely in R and don't want to use, for instance HTML templates. This package adds support for a powerful UI library Fomantic UI - https://fomantic-ui.com/ (before Semantic). It also supports universal UI input binding that works with various DOM elements.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from Appsilon/shiny.semantic. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
