Based on the structure of the SPSS version of the Swiss Household Panel (SHP) data, provides a function seqFromWaves() that seeks the data of variables specified by the user in each of the wave files and collects them as sequences. The function also matches the sequences with variables from other files such as the master files of persons (MP) and households (MH), and social origins (SO). It can also match with activity calendar data (CA).

Install

install.packages("seqSHP")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-seqshp

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-seqSHP

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-seqSHP

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
