Work with the 'Macrostrat' (https://macrostrat.org/) Web Service (v.2, https://macrostrat.org/api/v2) to fetch geological data relevant to the spatial and temporal distribution of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rocks as well as data extracted from them.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from UW-Macrostrat/macrostrat. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
