Create an 'R Journal' 'Rmarkdown' template article, that will generate html and pdf versions of your paper. Check that the paper folder has all the required components needed for submission. Examples of 'R Journal' publications can be found at https://journal.r-project.org.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from rjournal/rjtools. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
