Supports calculations and visualization for renewable power systems and the environment. Analysis and graphical tools for DC and AC circuits and their use in electric power systems. Analysis and graphical tools for thermodynamic cycles and heat engines, supporting efficiency calculations in coal-fired power plants, gas-fired power plants. Calculations of carbon emissions and atmospheric CO2 dynamics. Analysis of power flow and demand for the grid, as well as power models for microgrids and off-grid systems. Provides resource and power generation for hydro power, wind power, and solar power.

Install

install.packages("renpow")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-renpow

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-renpow

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-renpow

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
