Provides routines to create some quaternions splines: Barry-Goldman algorithm, De Casteljau algorithm, and Kochanek-Bartels algorithm. The implementations are based on the Python library 'splines'. Quaternions splines allow to construct spherical curves. References: Barry and Goldman doi:10.1145/54852.378511, Kochanek and Bartels doi:10.1145/800031.808575.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from stla/qsplines. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-qsplines

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
