Performs tuning of clustering models, methods and algorithms including the problem of determining an appropriate number of clusters. Validation of cluster analysis results is performed via quadratic scoring using resampling methods, as in Coraggio, L. and Coretto, P. (2023) doi:10.1016/j.jmva.2023.105181.

Install

install.packages("qcluster", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-qcluster

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
