Access the 'Public Transport Victoria' Timetable API https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/footer/data-and-reporting/datasets/ptv-timetable-api/, with results returned as familiar R data structures. Retrieve information on stops, routes, disruptions, departures, and more.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from mdneuzerling/ptvapi. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-ptvapi

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
