Computes the minimum sample size required for the external validation of an existing multivariable prediction model using the criteria proposed by Archer (2020) doi:10.1002/sim.8766 and Riley (2021) doi:10.1002/sim.9025.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-pmvalsampsize

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
