Create PostgreSQL statements/scripts from R, optionally executing the SQL statements. Common SQL operations are included, although not every configurable option is available at this time. SQL output is intended to be compliant with PostgreSQL syntax specifications. PostgreSQL documentation is available here https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/index.html.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from tconwell/pgTools. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-pgTools

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
