Perform flexible simulation studies using one or multiple computer cores. The package is set up to be usable on high-performance clusters in addition to being run locally (i.e., see the package vignettes for more information).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from SachaEpskamp/parSim. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-parSim

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
