Several functions are provided to implement a MBPLSDA : components search, optimal model components number search, optimal model validity test by permutation tests, observed values evaluation of optimal model parameters and predicted categories, bootstrap values evaluation of optimal model parameters and predicted cross-validated categories. The use of this package is described in Brandolini-Bunlon et al (2019. Multi-block PLS discriminant analysis for the joint analysis of metabolomic and epidemiological data. Metabolomics, 15(10):134).

Install

install.packages("packMBPLSDA", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-packMBPLSDA

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
