An R wrapper for the 'OneMap.Sg' API https://www.onemap.gov.sg/docs/. Functions help users query data from the API and return raw JSON data in "tidy" formats. Support is also available for users to retrieve data from multiple API calls and integrate results into single dataframes, without needing to clean and merge the data themselves. This package is best suited for users who would like to perform analyses with Singapore's spatial data without having to perform excessive data cleaning.

Install

install.packages("onemapsgapi", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-onemapsgapi

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
