A complement to all editions of *Modern Data Science with R* (ISBN: 978-0367191498, publisher URL: https://www.routledge.com/Modern-Data-Science-with-R/Baumer-Kaplan-Horton/p/book/9780367191498). This package contains data and code to complete exercises and reproduce examples from the text. It also facilitates connections to the SQL database server used in the book. All editions of the book are supported by this package.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from mdsr-book/mdsr. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-mdsr

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
