An emulator designed for rapid sequential emulation (e.g., Markov chain Monte Carlo applications). Works via extension of the 'laGP' approach by Gramacy and Apley (2015 doi:10.1080/10618600.2014.914442). Details are given in Rumsey et al. (2023 doi:10.1002/sta4.576).

Install

install.packages("leapgp", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-leapgp

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
