A joint latent class model where a hierarchical structure exists, with an interaction between female and male partners of a couple. A Bayesian perspective to inference and Markov chain Monte Carlo algorithms to obtain posterior estimates of model parameters. The reference paper is: Beom Seuk Hwang, Zhen Chen, Germaine M.Buck Louis, Paul S. Albert, (2018) "A Bayesian multi-dimensional couple-based latent risk model with an application to infertility". Install

install.packages("lchemix")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

pak::pak("wzhang17/lchemix.git")

Development version from wzhang17/lchemix.git. Requires the pak package.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-lchemix

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-lchemix

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-lchemix

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
