This is a set of simple utility functions to perform mutual conversion between the current Japanese calendar system that Wareki, the old Japanese calendar system that the Kyureki calendar and the Julian and Gregorian calendar. To calculate each calendar method, it converts to the Julian Day Number.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from indenkun/jcalendaR. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
