An implementation of the Line Segment Detector on digital images described in the paper: "LSD: A Fast Line Segment Detector with a False Detection Control" by Rafael Grompone von Gioi et al (2012). The algorithm is explained at doi:10.5201/ipol.2012.gjmr-lsd.

Install

install.packages("image.LineSegmentDetector", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from bnosac/image. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-image.LineSegmentDetector

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
