Helper to add insets based on geom_sf() from 'ggplot2'. This package gives you a drop-in replacement for geom_sf() that supports adding a zoomed inset map without having to create and embed a separate plot.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from cidm-ph/ggmapinset. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-ggmapinset

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
