The 'EconDataverse' is a universe of open-source packages to work seamlessly with economic data. This package is designed to make it easy to download selected datasets that are preprocessed by 'EconDataverse' packages and publicly hosted on 'Hugging Face'. Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from tidy-intelligence/r-econdatasets. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
