Contains a range of functions covering the present development of the distributional method for the dichotomisation of continuous outcomes. The method provides estimates with standard error of a comparison of proportions (difference, odds ratio and risk ratio) derived, with similar precision, from a comparison of means. Install

install.packages("distdichoR", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-distdichoR

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
