It contains functions to apply blockmodeling of signed (positive and negative weights are assigned to the links), one-mode and valued one-mode and two-mode (two sets of nodes are considered, e.g. employees and organizations) networks (Brusco et al. (2019) doi:10.1111/bmsp.12192).

Install

install.packages("dBlockmodeling", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-dBlockmodeling

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
