Creates a common framework for organizing, naming, and gathering population, age, race, and ethnicity data from the Census Bureau. Accesses the API https://www.census.gov/data/developers/data-sets.html. Provides tools for adding information to existing data to line up with Census data.

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
