Implementations of Bayesian parametric, nonparametric and semiparametric procedures for univariate and multivariate time series. The package is based on the methods presented in C. Kirch et al (2018) doi:10.1214/18-BA1126, A. Meier (2018) https://opendata.uni-halle.de//handle/1981185920/13470 and Y. Tang et al (2025) doi:10.1080/01621459.2025.2594191. It was supported by DFG grants KI 1443/3-1 and KI 1443/3-2.

Install

install.packages("beyondWhittle", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-beyondWhittle

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
