Designed to help the user to determine the sensitivity of an proposed causal effect to unconsidered common causes. Users can create visualizations of sensitivity, effect sizes, and determine which pattern of effects would support a causal claim for between group differences. Number needed to treat formula from Kraemer H.C. & Kupfer D.J. (2006) doi:10.1016/j.biopsych.2005.09.014.

Install

install.packages("ViSe", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-ViSe

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
