The Ultimate Microrray Prediction, Reality and Inference Engine (UMPIRE) is a package to facilitate the simulation of realistic microarray data sets with links to associated outcomes. See Zhang and Coombes (2012) doi:10.1186/1471-2105-13-S13-S1. Version 2.0 adds the ability to simulate realistic mixed-typed clinical data.

Install

R (CRAN)Ubuntu (r2u)openSUSE (OBS)

install.packages("Umpire", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# enable cranapt (r2u) if it is not already set up, then install

  || curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash
sudo apt install -y r-cran-umpire

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
