Facilitates secret management by storing credentials in a dedicated file, keeping them out of your code base. The secrets are stored without encryption. This package is compatible with secrets stored by the 'SecretsProvider' 'Python' package https://pypi.org/project/SecretsProvider/.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from NaaVRE/SecretsProviderR. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-SecretsProvider

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
