Fits group-regularized generalized linear models (GLMs) using the spike-and-slab group lasso (SSGL) prior of Bai et al. (2022) doi:10.1080/01621459.2020.1765784 and extended to GLMs by Bai (2023) doi:10.48550/arXiv.2007.07021. This package supports fitting the SSGL model for the following GLMs with group sparsity: Gaussian linear regression, binary logistic regression, and Poisson regression.

Install

install.packages("SSGL", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-SSGL

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
