Access to Boost Date_Time functionality for dates, durations (both for days and date time objects), time zones, and posix time ('ptime') is provided by using 'Rcpp modules'. The posix time implementation can support high-resolution of up to nano-second precision by using 96 bits (instead of 64 with R) to present a 'ptime' object (but this needs recompilation with a #define set).

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from eddelbuettel/rcppbdt. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.
