Provides tools for downloading, reading and analyzing the National Survey of Demographic and Health - PNDS, a household survey from Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics - IBGE. The data must be downloaded from the official website https://www.ibge.gov.br/. Further analysis must be made using package 'survey'.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from Gabriel-Assuncao/PNDSIBGE. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-PNDSIBGE

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
