Tools to process legacy format summary redistricting data files produced by the United States Census Bureau pursuant to P.L. 94-171. These files are generally available earlier but are difficult to work with as-is.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from CoryMcCartan/PL94171. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
