Contains Lioness Algorithm (LA) for finding optimal designs over continuous design space, optimal Latin hypercube designs, and optimal order-of-addition designs. LA is a brand new nature-inspired meta-heuristic optimization algorithm. Detailed methodologies of LA and its implementation on numerical simulations can be found at Hongzhi Wang, Qian Xiao and Abhyuday Mandal (2021) doi:10.48550/arXiv.2010.09154.

Install

install.packages("LA", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

ls /etc/yum.repos.d/*iucar*cran*.repo >/dev/null 2>&1 \
  || sudo dnf copr enable -y iucar/cran
sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-LA

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
