Provides functions for the method of effect stars as proposed by Tutz and Schauberger (2013) doi:10.1080/10618600.2012.701379. Effect stars can be used to visualize estimates of parameters corresponding to different groups, for example in multinomial logit models. Beside the main function 'effectstars' there exist methods for special objects, for example for 'vglm' objects from the 'VGAM' package.

Install

install.packages("EffectStars2", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
