Provides a function to query and extract data from the 'US Energy Information Administration' ('EIA') API V2 https://www.eia.gov/opendata/. The 'EIA' API provides a variety of information, in a time series format, about the energy sector in the US. The API is open, free, and requires an access key and registration at https://www.eia.gov/opendata/.

Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from RamiKrispin/EIAapi. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-EIAapi

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
