Fits a Causal Effect Random Forest of Interaction Trees (CERFIT) which is a modification of the Random Forest algorithm where each split is chosen to maximize subgroup treatment heterogeneity. Doing this allows it to estimate the individualized treatment effect for each observation in either randomized controlled trial (RCT) or observational data. For more information see L. Li, R. A. Install

install.packages("CERFIT", repos = "https://cloud.r-project.org/")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf install -y R-CRAN-CERFIT

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

For install.packages() integration in R, also: sudo dnf install R-CoprManager
