A suite of open-source R functions designed to produce standard metrics for forest management and ecology from forest inventory data. The overarching goal is to minimize potential inconsistencies introduced by the algorithms used to compute and summarize core forest metrics. Install

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Development version from kearutherford/BerkeleyForestsAnalytics. Installs pak first if it is not already available.

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). The cranapt setup runs once and is skipped when it is already enabled.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make
