Developed for Computing the probability density function, cumulative distribution function, random generation, estimating the parameters of asymmetric exponential power distribution, and robust regression analysis with error term that follows asymmetric exponential power distribution. The asymmetric exponential power distribution studied here is a special case of that introduced by Dongming and Zinde-Walsh (2009) <doi:10.1016/j.jeconom.2008.09.038>.

Install

install.packages("AEP")

Installs the current CRAN release. Prebuilt binaries on Windows and macOS.

Release

# one-time r2u setup for Ubuntu (noble)

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/eddelbuettel/r2u/master/inst/scripts/add_cranapt_noble.sh | sudo bash

# then install

sudo apt install r-cran-aep

Fast Ubuntu binaries via r2u (no compilation). Run the setup once per machine.

bspm (used by r2u) also needs make: sudo apt install make

sudo dnf copr enable iucar/cran

sudo dnf install R-CRAN-AEP

RPMs from the iucar/cran COPR, rebuilt from CRAN.

sudo zypper install R-AEP

RPMs auto-built from CRAN on openSUSE OBS.
